Welcome to Seenary. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Seenary website, application, and related services ("Seenary", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using Seenary, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.

1. What Seenary Does

Seenary is an AI-powered travel planning and travel companion service. It helps users discover destinations, create itineraries, organize trips, adapt plans based on their preferences and conversations, and carry a trip with them: offline maps and directions, a sign scanner and a voice translator in the app, checks on the places in a plan before the trip, and a community where travellers publish stories and routes for one another.

Seenary uses information from various sources and AI-generated recommendations to provide travel suggestions. Our goal is to make travel planning easier and more personalized.

2. AI-Generated Information

Seenary uses artificial intelligence to generate travel recommendations, itineraries and the descriptions in them, and to translate signs and speech.

While we aim to provide useful, relevant, and accurate information, AI-generated content may sometimes be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

Travel information such as opening hours, prices, availability, transportation, local regulations, weather, and attraction details can change without notice.

The sign scanner and the voice translator can mistranslate. Never rely on them alone for a safety sign, a warning, a medical matter or anything where a wrong word could cause harm; confirm with a person or an official source.

You are responsible for independently verifying important information before making travel decisions, bookings, payments, or other commitments.

Seenary should not be relied upon as the sole source of information for decisions involving safety, health, legal requirements, visas, immigration, or other matters where inaccurate information could cause significant harm or loss.

3. Your Account

You can use parts of Seenary without an account, including one itinerary per device. Keeping that plan, changing it, exporting it, sharing it, or planning anything after it, requires an account.

That free plan is one per device. Working around the limit — by resetting device storage, scripting the service, or otherwise — is a use we may refuse or rate-limit. The same applies to the allowances of a plan (section 5): making accounts to get around them is a use we may refuse.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when creating your account.
• Keeping your login credentials secure, and choosing whether to stay signed in on a device you share with others.
• All activity carried out through your account.
• Not sharing your account or using another person's account without permission.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, use “Sign out of all devices” in Settings and contact us promptly.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings or the delete-account page. Deletion removes the account and everything attached to it and cannot be undone; the Privacy Policy says what is kept afterwards.

4. Using Seenary

You agree to use Seenary only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• Use Seenary for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Seenary.
• Copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute Seenary's content or technology without permission.
• Use automated systems to excessively scrape or collect information from Seenary.
• Upload or submit content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights.

5. Plans, Payments and Refunds

Planning is free. A Free account can make three itineraries a month and at most three a day; the allowance resets on the first of the month. Where paid plans are offered, they unlock the in-trip toolkit — offline map packs, the voice translator, whole-board sign translation, more imports, shared editing and further trips: a Trip Pass (₹149, one trip, valid for 30 days from first use), Plus (₹199 a month or ₹1,499 a year) or Pro (₹399 a month or ₹2,999 a year). The current limits of every plan are listed on the Plans page, which is the page that applies; we may change prices and allowances for future periods with notice there.

On the website, payments are taken by Razorpay. In the apps, a purchase is made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play and is subject to that store’s terms, including its refund rules; a subscription bought in a store is managed and cancelled in that store. A subscription bought on the website is cancelled from Settings and runs to the end of the period already paid for. Seenary never holds your card number.

Refunds for purchases made on the website are handled case by case: write to us through Talk to us with the invoice reference from your purchase email. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, nothing here limits it.

A plan’s allowances count what your account uses — itineraries, changes by chat, translator turns, imports — whether you or someone you share editing with asked for it. When an allowance is used up, the product tells you and offers the next option; nothing is charged without your purchase.

6. Budget Estimates

Seenary's budget estimator produces planning ranges from our own reference figures. It is not a quotation, an offer, or a price from any provider, and it does not tell you what you will actually be charged. Use it to size a trip before you plan it, and confirm real prices with whoever you book with.

7. Travel Bookings and Third-Party Services

Seenary may provide information about or link to third-party services, including hotels, flights, restaurants, attractions, transportation providers, tour operators, and booking platforms.

A “Book” link on an experience in a plan takes you to Viator, which sells it. These are affiliate links: Seenary may earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Seenary is not the merchant, does not take your payment, and is not a party to the booking; Viator’s terms, prices, availability and cancellation rules apply.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Seenary does not operate or control these third-party services.

Any booking you make with a third party is subject to that provider's own terms, conditions, pricing, availability, cancellation policies, and other rules.

Seenary is not responsible for the performance, availability, pricing, quality, safety, or cancellation of third-party services.

8. Itineraries, Recommendations and the Toolkit

Seenary's itineraries are recommendations and should be treated as suggestions rather than guarantees.

Actual travel conditions may differ from the information used to create your itinerary. Factors such as traffic, weather, closures, delays, crowds, local events, personal circumstances, and changes in operating hours may affect your trip. Confirm opening hours, closures and access with the place itself before you go.

Before a trip, and periodically for trips further out, Seenary re-checks the stops in a plan against map data and official alert feeds and tells you when something new is found. These checks are best-effort: the data they read can lag, an order or a strike may never reach it, and a clean check is not a confirmation that a place is open.

Offline directions in the app are estimates from OpenStreetMap road data, without traffic, and may be wrong about a road, a turn or a closure. They are a help, not a navigation system to be followed without looking; obey the road, signs and local rules, and do not operate the app while driving.

You are responsible for deciding whether a recommendation is appropriate for you and your travel companions.

9. Trips You Share or Plan With Others

Seenary lets you invite other people to a trip and choose what each of them may do: edit it, suggest changes for you to accept, or read it. You can also publish a view-only link that anyone holding it can open without signing in.

Sharing is your decision and your responsibility. When you invite someone or publish a link, you are giving them the trip's contents, including anything you have written into it. Revoking a link or removing a member stops further access; it cannot recall what has already been seen, copied or downloaded. Do not put information into a trip that you would not want every person you share it with to have.

Everyone on a shared trip is expected to follow these Terms. We may remove content or end access where a trip is used to harass someone or to share unlawful material.

A member of the Seenary team may plan a trip for you and hand it over with a one-time link. Claiming the link moves the trip into your account and ends every other way into it; from then on it is yours, under these Terms, like any trip you planned yourself.

10. Stories, Routes and Community Conduct

You may publish stories about a trip or a place, routes Seenary planned for you, tips and comments, and mark other travellers’ work as helpful. You keep ownership of what you publish. By publishing, you grant Seenary a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, translate, excerpt and distribute it on Seenary, for as long as it stays published, and to let other travellers copy a route or reuse the stops of a story in their own plans.

Publish only what is yours to publish: your own photos and words, and nothing that identifies another person without their consent. Every published word and photo is reviewed by automated checks before it appears, and may be held for a person to look at. We may hide, remove or refuse anything that breaks these Terms, that is reported by other travellers, or that we judge unsafe or misleading, with or without notice. You can unpublish or delete your own stories and routes at any time.

Comments and tips are for other travellers: be accurate, be civil, and do not post prices, promotions, links or contact details. Helpful votes, “I travelled this” and contributor levels are earned, not bought; gaming them is a use we may end. Stories written by us are labelled “From the Seenary team”. A published story or route is another traveller’s account of their own trip, not advice from Seenary, and section 8 applies to anything you take from it.

11. User Content

You may provide information, preferences, messages, reviews, feedback, photos, or other content while using Seenary ("User Content").

You retain ownership of the content you submit.

By submitting User Content, you grant Seenary permission to use, process, store, and display that content as necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and personalize our services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to any content you submit.

12. Intellectual Property

Seenary and its underlying technology, software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Seenary and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); photographs from Wikimedia Commons are credited on Photo credits under their own licences.

Except as expressly permitted by us, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Seenary or its proprietary content.

13. Availability of the Service

We will make reasonable efforts to keep Seenary available and functioning, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time, including for maintenance, improvements, security, or other operational reasons.

14. Disclaimer

Seenary is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that:

• Information provided through Seenary will always be accurate, complete, or current.
• Recommendations will meet your expectations.
• The service will always be available or error-free.
• A particular attraction, hotel, restaurant, transportation service, or other third-party service will be available or suitable for your needs.
• A translation, a direction, a trip check or a published route will be correct.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Seenary and its directors, employees, affiliates, and service providers will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Seenary.

This includes, where applicable, losses arising from travel arrangements, missed bookings, cancellations, delays, inaccurate information, third-party services, or changes to travel conditions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Privacy

Your use of Seenary is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, who it is shared with and the choices you have, and by our Cookie Policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make material changes, we may provide reasonable notice through the Seenary website, application, or other appropriate means.

Your continued use of Seenary after the updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Seenary if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or engage in activity that may harm Seenary, other users, or our systems.

You may stop using Seenary at any time, and delete your account as described in section 3.

19. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of Seenary will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts specified by Seenary in accordance with applicable law.

This policy is written and published in English. Where you read it in another language, that translation is provided for convenience and is produced automatically; the English text is the one that applies.
