Delete your Seenary account

You can delete your Seenary account whenever you like — in the Seenary app on Android or iPhone, on seenary.ai, or by asking us. Deleting an account is permanent: it cannot be undone, and nothing deleted with it can be recovered.

In the Seenary app

1. Open the Account tab and sign in, if you are not signed in already.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete account, type DELETE and tap Delete for ever.

On the website

1. Sign in at seenary.ai.
2. Open Settings from your profile menu.
3. Under Delete account, choose Delete…, type DELETE and choose Permanently delete.

If you cannot sign in

Ask us through Talk to us, or email contact@seenary.ai from the address on your account, and say that you want the account deleted. We will check that the request comes from the account’s owner and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and everything attached to it: your profile (name, email address, phone number, date of birth, avatar, the profile photo you uploaded and the link to your Google or Apple sign-in), your trips with their itineraries and every earlier version of them, the preferences and travel patterns Seenary has learned, your favourites, the devices registered for notifications, and the product events recorded against your account.

Trips you created are deleted even if you planned them with other people, so the people you invited lose them too. On a trip that belongs to someone else, your membership ends; the comments and suggestions you left there, and the entries in that trip’s history that show your name, stay with the trip for its owner, no longer linked to any account.

What is kept

• If you used Seenary before signing in, an irreversible fingerprint of that device’s random identifier, so the same device cannot claim a second free plan. It cannot be turned back into the identifier and does not contain your name or contact details.
• A record that we sent a welcome email to your email address, so that a new account on the same address does not receive a second one.
• Technical logs on our servers, kept only to run and secure the service.

Deleting some data without deleting the account

You can delete any trip at any time, remove anything Seenary has learned about how you travel on the Personalization page, and turn usage analytics and notifications off in Settings. To have other information corrected or deleted, ask us through Talk to us. The Privacy Policy describes everything Seenary collects.
